Eleven-year-old stiltwalkers Luna Malcolm, left, and Allegra McLeish, were circulating throughout the Artscape Wychwood Barns on Saturday passing out flyers and promoting this week’s Barn Raiser, a benefit organized by the Wychwood Barns Community Association (WBCA). Taking place Thursday evening from 7 – 10 pm, the Barn Raiser features entertainment by Suzie Vinnick, The Cowgirls and the Vincent Bertucci Band along with stilt performers from SwizzleStick Theatre; food is courtesy of 12 local restaurants including the piping hot Stockyards and The Rushton, all for just $75. Seventy works of art, some on preview now at the Wychwood Gallery, will be auctioned to support the WBCA. Expect a lively evening of art and culture.
